Melanie began her career with SFI Group in 2015 as Personal Lines Customer Service Representative and now serves as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. Originally from West Jefferson, NC, Melanie brings over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. She is passionate about helping clients understand their coverage and enjoys being part of a supportive, fun team.
Outside of the office, Melanie and her husband, Andy, have two stepsons and two retired greyhound racers, Reddington and Rosie. She is active in her church, which actively supports youth theatre and Share the Table. In her free time, Melanie enjoys reading, theatre, and time with loved ones.
I wanted to take the time to let you know just how happy we are to have Sharon Rackley as our commercial insurance agent for our businesses. It seems that most of the time you only hear the complaints of our customers and I just felt compelled to write to explain what a wonderful, professional, and ethical employee you have with Sharon. Wow, a breathtaking experience to have an agent who actually cares even if your account isn’t the biggest on the books. Sharon gave us personal service an we feel that she went above and beyond her job to help us with new insurance and with the ongoing issues with our prior agent in Wilmington. She made the transition an easy one and helped with all the bumps and punches we took from our previous carriers.
