Correll Team Members’ Children Selected as 2026 IIABSC Scholarship Recipients
We are proud to share that two children of Correll Insurance Group employees have been selected as recipients of the 2026 Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of South Carolina (IIABSC) Foundation Scholarship.
Each year, the IIABSC Foundation provides scholarships to the children of member agency employees who are either entering college or currently pursuing their undergraduate degrees. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievements, leadership, community involvement, and overall character.
This year, seven $2,000 scholarships were awarded to students across the state by the IIABSC Foundation.
This year’s recipients from our agencies include:
- Mary English Hammett: A senior at Spartanburg High School, Mary English plans to attend Wofford College. She is the daughter of Rob Hammett with CWS Insurance in Spartanburg.
- Ali Hardin: A senior at Gaffney High School, Ali plans to major in nursing at the University of South Carolina Beaufort. She is the daughter of Wade Hardin with CWS Insurance in Gaffney.
We are incredibly proud of Mary and Ali for their well-deserved recognition. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their future goals truly embody the values this scholarship represents.
We’re also grateful to the IIABSC Foundation for continuing to invest in the next generation through opportunities like this. Congratulations to all recipients and their families!
I wanted to take the time to let you know just how happy we are to have Sharon Rackley as our commercial insurance agent for our businesses. It seems that most of the time you only hear the complaints of our customers and I just felt compelled to write to explain what a wonderful, professional, and ethical employee you have with Sharon. Wow, a breathtaking experience to have an agent who actually cares even if your account isn’t the biggest on the books. Sharon gave us personal service an we feel that she went above and beyond her job to help us with new insurance and with the ongoing issues with our prior agent in Wilmington. She made the transition an easy one and helped with all the bumps and punches we took from our previous carriers.
